20th March 2025 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: light airs Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny with light winds. Max Speed: Distance Covered: 2 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Thursday 20th March - walk *** – around Felixstowe – sunny with very light winds. Another great day for weather with wall to wall sunshine with a very light breeze making the sea very flat, being the first of spring I had some fun with some of Mags garden wire making a big spring so I could take a few pics of it against the blue sky to send to the TV weather naming then, Spring is in the air, sad I know:) I then did my exercises in the sunny and warm back garden before packing a picnic. We didn’t want to go far so just headed down to Felixstowe seafront and it was like a summers day with loads of people on the pron enjoying the top weather! There were a few families on the beach, a couple in the sea by the pier, then set off towards The Fludyers ending up having our picnic by the small round pond in the Spa Gardens, just lovely it was too:) There might even be enough wind for a foil tomorrow?
